Adak
The community of Adak Alaska is located 1,200 miles southwest of Anchorage, near the end of the Aleutian chain (51.86441 N, 176.63188 W). Once the site of an Army and Naval base, Adak boasts extensive infrastructure in an extremely remote location. Chadux's response equipment is stored at one of the old military warehouses near the waterfront.

Anchorage
The city of Anchorage is located at the head of Cook Inlet in Southcentral Alaska (61.218060° N and 149.90028° W). Approximately 278,000 people live in Anchorage and the city boasts an extensive infrastructure to support spill response efforts: airports, equipment and labor contractors, and medical facilities. Anchorage is a central hub on the Alaska rail and road system and is linked to the rest of the state by air.

Utqiaġvik
The northern-most community in North America, Utqiaġvik is located on the coast of the Chukchi Sea (71.290560° N and 156.78861° W). Utqiaġvik has approximately 4,400 residents and is linked with the rest of the state by barge and by air. Chadux’s equipment is located at Ilisagvik College.

Bethel
A city of approximately 5,900 residents, Bethel sits on the Kuskokwim River, about 40 miles inland from the Bering Sea (60.792220° N and 161.75583° W). Bethel is an air transportation hub for the surrounding villages. Chadux’s equipment is located at the Crowley Marine Services facility.

One of the fishing communities bordering Prince William Sound, Cordova is home to approximately 3,000 people. Chadux’s Homer equipment cache was established over the summer of 2016. Homer is a port city, centrally located in Cook Inlet, that is 222 road miles southwest of Anchorage, AK (59.6425 N 151.5483 W). Chadux’s equipment is stored at the Northstar Terminal on the Homer Spit.

Located on the north-eastern tip of Kodiak Island, the fishing community of Kodiak is home to nearly 6,200 people (57.788890° N and 152.4019° W). The town is linked with the rest of Alaska by way of air and water routes. Chadux’s equipment is located at the Alaska Transfer and Storage facility.

Chadux’s King Cove equipment cache was established over the summer of 2016. King Cove is a fishing community at the end of the Alaska Peninsula about 625 miles southwest of Anchorage, AK (55.0617 N 162.3103 W). Approximately 900 people live in King Cove. Chadux’s equipment is stored next to the Harbormaster’s offices.

Kotzebue
Chadux’s Kotzebue equipment cache was established over the summer of 2016. Kotzebue is a hub community in the Northwest Arctic, with a population of slightly more than 3,000 people. It is located at the end of a spit in Kotzebue Sound (66.8983 N 162.5967 W). Chadux stores its equipment at the CPD Alaska fuel facility.

A small industrial city on the western side of the Kenai Peninsula, Nikiski has a population of 4,280 (60.716050° N and 151.34066° W). Nikiski is linked to Anchorage by road and air service. Chadux’s equipment is located at the Offshore Systems terminal.
