Typhoon Halong Relief: Ways to Support Western Alaska
Typhoon Halong has left a devastating mark on remote coastal communities across Western Alaska, including Kwigillingok, Kipnuk, and others that have faced severe flooding and destruction. Our hearts are with the families who have lost their homes, livelihoods, and sense of safety.
As Alaskans, we share a deep connection to these communities and the waters that sustain us all. Moments like this remind us of our collective responsibility to support one another—through compassion, preparedness, and resilience-building across our state.
The Alaska Chadux̂ Network stands with our neighbors in Western Alaska and remains committed to doing our part to strengthen and protect Alaska’s coastal communities in the face of these growing challenges.
