ACN established an outdoor equipment display at the ACN Nome Response Hub, providing hands-on familiarization for both exercise participants and local stakeholders. During the exercise, ACN personnel filled key Incident Management Team roles, deployed of Geographic Response Strategy (GRS) equipment on the Snake River, and provided real-time education for observers and community members. Despite challenging weather conditions, the upper Snake River boom configuration was successfully deployed—highlighting ACN’s operational readiness, deep local engagement, and commitment to building spill response capacity across Western Alaska.
